One day in Dushanbe
2130
Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, is located in the Gissar Valley in the south of the country. The city originated from a small settlement at the crossroad, where a large bazaar used to be arranged on Mondays. That is why the city got its unique name ('Dushanbe' means 'Monday' in the Tajik language). Kazinform photojournalist demonstrates the city's views, attractions, and the life of the residents.
