The Askeri Kernei (“Military Trumpet”) international festival is dedicated to the Capital City Day and the Day of the Police of Kazakhstan.

Nur-Sultan hosts the 7th Askeri Kernei International Music Festival of Military Orchestras, which has already become traditional. The festival is held for the prizes of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thanks to the support of Nur-Sultan Mayor’s Office, the festival of military orchestras is an annual cultural event and leaves residents and guests of the capital with unforgettable vivid impressions. The festival combines military, classical, folk, and pop music, parade defile,   and demonstration of servicemen’s weapon skills.
 
The final part of the event – the parade ground of the 7th Askeri Kernei International Music Festival of Military Orchestra for the prizes of the Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of Kazakhstani pop stars - will be held at the Barys Arena.

The best military bands will be awarded valuable prizes and diplomas.
