Voluntary vaccination campaign against coronavirus kicks off in Kazakhstan
A voluntary vaccination campaign against the coronavirus infection has kicked off in Kazakhstan on February 1.
The first batch of Sputnik V vaccine has already been delivered to Kazakhstan and will be distributed among all regions.
It is expected that up to 6 million Kazakhstanis will be vaccinated by the end of 2021.
The vaccination campaign will be carried out in stage. At-risk groups will be inoculated at the first stage of the vaccination campaign, including representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims and deputy akims of the region.
