Head of State chairs extended session of the Council of Kazakhstan People's Assembly

The extended session of the Council of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan chaired by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev started in the Kazakh capital. Representatives of ethno-cultural associations will discuss the pressing issues on strengthening of inter-ethnic accord and new tasks which the Assembly is facing. Present-day global and regional challenges stimulate further strengthening of the unity of the Kazakh people. Domestic model of poly-ethnic relations is becoming a shield against new threats. The Assembly has greatly contributed to it.
